It is my privilege to welcome you to the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of Gomal Medical College. Established in line with the directives of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC) standards, the QEC serves as the institutional focal point for maintaining, monitoring, and continuously improving the quality of academic, administrative, and clinical education at our college.
Our mission is to ensure that Gomal Medical College remains committed to excellence in medical education by fostering a culture of self-assessment, evidence-based improvement, and adherence to national and international quality benchmarks. The QEC works closely with all academic departments, faculty, and administration to implement quality assurance mechanisms, including curriculum review, faculty evaluation, student feedback systems, and institutional performance assessment.
We believe that quality enhancement is not a one-time exercise but an ongoing journey — one that requires the collective commitment of faculty, staff, and students alike. Through regular audits, workshops, and accreditation processes, we strive to align our practices with the evolving standards of medical education both nationally and globally.
