The department of Gastroenterology is a leading center dedicated to excellence in patient care, advanced endoscopic services, medical education and clinical research. The department comprises of 4 full time faculty members. Our department serves as important referral center for diagnosis and management of disorders of Gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas and biliary system, providing high quality evidence based care of patients of Dera Ismail Khan and surrounding regions.

The department offers specialist outpatient and inpatient services ensuring comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide spectrum of Gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary diseases.

Our department is equipped with modern facilities for diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. We are proud to provide ERCP services for the treatment of complex biliary and pancreatic diseases, helping patients access specialized care close to home.

In addition to clinical excellence our department is deeply engaged in undergraduate and post graduate teaching, training MBBS students, nursing students and internal medicine residents.
