The Department of Pediatrics, Gomal Medical College, MTI Dera Ismail Khan, is dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services to neonates, infants, children and adolescents while contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and research.

The department provides clinical care for children with a wide range of acute and chronic pediatric conditions through outpatient, inpatient and emergency services. The department also provides neonatal care and management of common neonatal and pediatric emergencies, with particular emphasis on timely diagnosis, evidence-based management and comprehensive patient care.

The department is actively involved in undergraduate teaching and clinical training of medical students, as well as academic activities for postgraduate trainees. Teaching activities include bedside teaching, clinical case discussions, seminars, tutorials, case presentations and other academic sessions.

The faculty members are committed to improving standards of pediatric and neonatal care through clinical services, medical education, continuing professional development and research activities.
